CORPORATE SALES LEADER -**IN TRAINING

Locally owned and operated - Gold's Gym BC currently runs 4 facilities in the lower mainland. We are searching for the perfect candidate to spearhead our corporate and community partnership program. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the fitness industry and detailed understanding of SALES/sales processes/objection handling/closing and the ability to negotiate. 

KPIs / Responsibilities: 

  • Completes all general sales OB training in full - Completes all assigned milestone training. 
  • Collaborates with club leadership to understand facility traffic, customer demographics, identify trends, promotional needs, and identify market competitors offerings
  • Generate sales through in person guest tours of all facilities, business to business outreach, referrals from members, and promoting the facility by distributing guest passes to prospective leads.
  • Collaborates with marketing and ownership to ensure brand consistency. 
  • Assist in creation and approval of corporate marketing tools - including posters, flyers, digital assets, email marketing ext. 
  • Plan and support club level teams by organizing/attending community events, connecting with other local businesses to support healthy relationships and marketing opportunities. 
  • Plan and support club level teams with in-club pop-ups vendor collaborations. 
  • Develop and implement facility wide outreach team policies - working closely with facility directors to develop outreach training, street team scheduling and tracking of outreach milestones by club. 
  •  Audit and manager current relationships with corporate and in club advertising accounts to ensure proper communication and growth of partnerships.
  • Develop NEW corporate partnerships - including negotiations, documentation of partnership structure, implementation of specific internal and external marketing, tracking of partnership sales success ext.
  • Attending industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and promote the company's interests.
  • Conducting facility and pricing presentations through phone calls, video conferencing and in person meetings/tours.
  • Works closely with club level sales teams to manage and implement lead generation strategies
  • Ensures all personal corporate sales quotas are hit each month by club location. 
  • Draft and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to upper management as required - while assessing quarterly corporate sales tracking and performance of all corporate sales company wide.
  • Ensure proper categorizing of all corporate sales at club level by leaders and sales team members. 
  • Achieves all personal sales targets monthly - ensuring proper tracking of all sales using appropriate company software's. 
  • Attends weekly sales/leadership meetings to ensure clear communication throughout departments.
PLEASE NOTE- All candidates for this position must complete general sales training with a advised club leader - This role is a commission based role with a general base wage, plus bonuses, and the opportunity for residual monthly income based on performance. 

Probationary period for this role is 3 months - at that time wage negotiations are available based on department successes and  profitability. 


Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and influence people.
  • Experience in the health and wellness industry is preferred.
  • College or University degree preferred, with minimum two (2) years professional experience (Management experience preferred).
  • Competent in performance metrics including revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facility maintenance.
  • Detailed understanding of sales processes and a proven track record of achieving sustainable, profitable business result.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform calmly in a fast paced environment- critical thinking skills are essential. 
  • Strong administrative skills including payroll, scheduling, ordering inventory, and report generating. 
  • Strong ability to self organize with a strong attention to detail, work within budgets, understands task management for timelines and be able to think creatively to drive sales initiatives.
  • Must have reliable transportation - in club / multi location / remote work required.
