$48,000 per year
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field OR 2+ years’ experience in management or related leadership role. Marketing management experience is an asset.
- A valid driver’s licence or access to reliable transportation to access different Gold’s Gym locations as needed is an asset.
- Must have their own laptop and iPhone to create photo or video content.
- Advanced knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Hands-on experience in content creation, analytics, and community engagement is required.
- Demonstrated experience in event planning and project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Experience with graphic design and video/photo editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and email marketing platforms is an asset.
- Certifications in Social Media, Graphic Design, or Personal Training are considered assets.

- Oversee and manage marketing tasks, project timelines, and deliverables using project management software and communication tools.
- Attend weekly meetings, prepare talking points, and supporting documents to align with marketing project objectives.
- Ensure all marketing activities are on-brand and consistent with company style guides, buyer personas, and club-specific promotions.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date knowledge of company promotions, membership pricing, personal training packages, group fitness classes, club amenities, and upcoming events.
- Complete daily task trackers and submit end-of-day reports with relevant metrics to leadership.
- Communicate learning opportunities and departmental updates to the Director of Brand Development and other leaders.
- Manage the Marketing Requests Log and Printing Requests Form, ensuring timely delivery of all marketing materials to club locations.
- Update the Marketing Assets Requests Presentation for printing cost changes or updates to design templates as needed.
- Collaborate with design/printing team to source new quotes for printed items as needed.
- Support upper management with additional marketing tasks, special projects, and one-off assignments as required.
- Assist the Director of Brand Development in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and member acquisition.
- Research and stay current on fitness industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging digital platforms.
- Coordinate, plan, and assist in the execution of all marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and in-club initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, infographics, email marketing, copy, social media graphics and other promotional materials for digital and printed advertising, collaborating with third parties (e.g. graphic designers or team members) as needed.
- Design posters and graphics as needed to fulfill club signage requests and ensure all assets are current and compliant with branding guidelines.
- Develop and maintain all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), ensuring timely responses and sharing engaging content.
- Create and manage a monthly social media calendar, outlining required assets, copy, and posting schedules.
- Oversee content creation, including video/photo shoots, editing, feedback and final approvals when working with external contractors, members, and influencers.
- Create, film and edit engaging content for all social media platforms on a consistent basis, collaborating with internal teams as needed.
- Ensure club staff are informed of upcoming marketing activities and social media campaigns, providing appropriate notice for in-club initiatives.
- Provide weekly metrics reporting on the success and areas for improvement of social media initiatives.
- Assist the planning, staffing, execution, and post-analysis of internal and external events, activations, and partnership initiatives.
- In collaboration with the Corporate Partnerships Manager or the Director of Brand Development, establish and nurture relationships with community and brand partners as needed, negotiating mutually beneficial agreements and overseeing partnership deliverables.
- Coordinate event logistics (e.g. scheduling, materials, transportation, vendor coordination, team training) ensuring compliance with club procedures.
- Act as the first point of contact to ensure clear communication surrounding event schedules, day-to-day tasks and expectations for staff and third parties involved in events.
- Assist in merchandise strategy and execution of product launches by conducting relevant research, providing feedback on designs, creating promotional materials and supporting operations as needed.
